SUCK IT!!!

Hi Nadir,

There is something that I’ve been meaning to bring up with you, and the recent event of John being deported has further motivated me to tell you what is on my mind.  I’ve decided to use e-mail instead of confronting you in person, because I not only do I not want a defensive, untrue response, but I want to make sure that I can deliver my message effectively.

You have previously said that you were putting our deductions (which are excessively high and not relative to our income) in a ‘separate account’ to later be paid to the government.  There are a couple things wrong with this statement:

1) I don’t believe you intend to ever pay the government this money.
2) You and I both know that you cannot choose when to pay the government these taxes as a lump-some, but they must be paid with each payroll.

From what I have pieced together, John was deported because you failed to sign his working visa.  You chose not to sign it because then the government would know that Java-Licious is a company in existence and that it is not paying taxes owed.

I have added up the total deductions that have been taken off of my paycheques since I started working at Java-Licious on March 16th.  The deductions total to $625.89 up to and including the last paycheque (paid July 16th).  Including $200 training wages, the total is $825.89.

Now, you can pay me this money CASH within one week of tomorrow, Tuesday July 27th OR I can report you to the Better Business Bureau and Employment Standards and who ever else I can and you will be owing a lot more than that.

I wouldn’t have minded working under the table, but having so much taken off and going straight back to you is a slap in the face.

I am an extremely hard worker and very reliable.  And what for?  So I can be rewarded with a measly paycheque LATE and then I have to worry about it bouncing?!

You are a good actor, and lead everyone to believe that you are an honest, “really nice guy”.  But in reality, you just do everything you have to including the UNLAWFUL to keep your failing business afloat.

Well I for one have HAD ENOUGH and again expect the following from you, or else further LEGAL action will be taken:

$825.89 IN CASH BY TUESDAY AUGUST 3RD, 2010.

I also would like to note here that I will no longer be an employee of Java-Licious as of Tuesday, August 10th, 2010 (2 weeks from tomorrow).

Sincerely,

Nikki Ross
